An Introduction to the Patroller Committee...
The goal of the Patroller Committee (PC), is to objectively focus on issues and events which have concerned many members of the National Ski Patrol, detail such concerns and seek resolution. Our committee is accessible to all members and alumni of the NSP. Our group has been formed by a core of hundreds of experienced and dedicated Patrollers, who are concerned about the future of our NSP.
When participating in this humble endeavor, we are driven by several crucial, motivating factors, including the following point: a hearty group of brilliant, resolute and pioneering women and men who have spent years of their lives and unlimited quantities of their personal resources, to develop the concept, operation and view to the future of the National Ski Patrol as it is presently known.
The fruit of this amazing and gallant effort is the creation of the most respected outdoor emergency response and education organization in the world. The National Ski Patrol after 65 years of existence, has vitually become an organization truly befitting the title of an American Icon. At (PC) our firm belief is, the legacy of the women and men of the National Ski Patrol should be recognized and the tradition and identity of NSP should be maintained. The concept of change within the NSP is good, however our sincere position is change should be enacted after a thorough review and approval by the voice of nearly 26,000 members of National Ski Patrol.
As we proceed forward in our task to identify the issues which concern thousands of Patrollers throughout the nation, we as Patrollers have a responsibility to interface in a cordial and respectful manner with the National Ski Patrol Board of Directors and Executive group. The acknowledgement of, and adherence to, this responsibility is a prerequisite for involvement with the women and men of Patroller Committee. Our work is straightforward as an effort to identify and detail the issues and concerns of the members of NSP, with a view to mutually-beneficial resolution with the National Ski Patrol Board of Directors and Executive group.
On a weekly basis,we will be offering the views of our dedicated people of (PC) and request your involvement and input. Please tell your crewmates of our group! Send us your thoughts on the main page feedback prompt. We value your involvement, ideas and opinions- Join us... you will be heard and your thoughts sincerely appreciated!
